Once a companion of the Prophet Muhammad asked him for a master advise by which he may be able to manage all affairs of his life. The Prophet said, ‘Don’t be angry.’ But how should one refrain from becoming angry in a world full of negative experiences? The only way of doing so is by placing one’s matters in the hands of God. A faithful person must live his life in a way that enables him to give the gift of peace to others. This is symbolized by the Islamic practice of greeting others with the words, ‘Peace be upon you’.
